- Why watch it?
What question does this video answer?
As Christadelphians, we answer both by slowing down with Scripture.
This video shows why careful Bible reading matters, and it answers common questions:
Is money the root of all evil?
Did Adam and Eve eat an apple?
How many animals were on the ark?
Why did Micah’s priestly choice go wrong?

From the transcript, we see that 1 Timothy 6:10 says the love of money—not money itself—is the root of all evil, leading to covetousness, traps and foolish, hurtful lusts. Genesis 3 never names the fruit; it speaks of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Genesis 7 distinguishes seven pairs of clean animals from one pair of unclean animals.
Judges 17–18 shows Micah choosing a Levite as priest, but Numbers 18 required priests to be descendants of Aaron; the Levite was Jonathan, Moses’ grandson. Deuteronomy warns us not to add to or take away from God’s commands. So we encourage you to read slowly and carefully—you may discover something you never realised before.
